I'm having a problem with my shop crane and I need some advice. The arm won't stay up with a load on it. The cylinder is not leaking and I made sure that it was full of oil. This just started. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like your release valve (at the base of the cylinder) is not tightened properly. Open it full and then fully close it. If that doesn't cure, it's likely you got a piston ring seal issue that's letting fluid bypass.

Or ... a leaking check valve.
