Showing these pieces tomorrow thru Saturday, also selling I hope at the Rennigers Antique Extravaganza located in Kutztown, PA. Single photo is a Black Walnut burl 18" x 8", finished with wet sanded Danish oil then buffed with Beal system.
Very nice work, Joe. I took a look at the Rennigers Antique Extravaganza web site and see that it is a really huge venue so you should get lots of people looking (and hopefully buying). I am curious about the approximate price range that your bowls sell for there. I've never sold anything. I just make gifts (although my wife wants to keep a lot of stuff that I turn). I also turn things to donate to the Empty Bowls event that our local food bank conducts once a year. I also just startedd last year to make boxes for the Beads of Courage project.
Thanks Bill, my bowls range from $35.00 to $400.00. Today was a good day sold 8 pieces including bird houses. Turnout was just OK. I do sell there every week, this show was the first for me. Let you know the final numbers after the show.
