I am not a computer expert however after lot of tries to reduce a photo this is how I acomplished it. I emailed the picture to myself. That gave me a choice to change the size to "best for email". Then I saved the picture. (Should have given the a picture a proper name at that time). The picture I saved was of a proper size to post. You all may have a simpler way but this may help somebody.
Now I have to learn to take better pictures and edit them.
