With a recent haul of Sycamore. Always fun to work with wood that gets water flying everywhere. These are 8" to 15" diameter. Some cored, some shallow, some deeper and some once turned. Should make for some interesting coloring experiments next year.Sycamore A.jpg
 
Sycamore is one of those woods that generally warps far beyond the 10% rule. When I do get it, I always quarter saw it so the medullary rays show up, and then can be spectacular.
