Hello,

Can anybody comment on the Simon Hope Threading Jig? Likes and Dislikes? It looks pretty easy to use and can be ordered with a variety of TPI threads.

It is unavailable to purchase in the USA from the UK where it is made due to insurance issues. The only business I found that sells them to the USA is in Canada.

Thank you.

I have one and like it. Chose it because of the hinge feature so you can easily test the fit of the threads and also because of its massive construction
Hi John,
I was thinking the same thing about the hinge. It seems to be easier to swing away to test fit the threads on a box between the top and bottom versus the Chefware jig.
Thanks for your reply.

Rick - I have one that I bought from Simon at the annual symposium a few
years back. I have only used it four or five times but was very happy with the construction and results. Hope to get back to it some day.
Hi Jim,
I can't make it to the 2022 AAW symposium in Chattanooga this year. Since I will be on vacation near Indianapolis for a week next year which is about 90 miles away from Louisville, I will try to make the short drive there for the 2023 symposium then. Maybe Simon will have a booth there.
Thanks for your reply.
