tip when you go to use it. It cuts like a razor in butter. Because of the design (required to reach the shoulder of the hollow form) it is naturally over tool rest at least 5 inches and because of that you need to make sure the handle is long enough. What's pictured is about what I first put on mine and when I tried to use it it scared the @#$@# out of me. I couldn't control it. After consulting with Mike Hunter below is what I wound up with and it works great but even now I always keep the end tucked in tight to my body. Stuart Baty's rule for scrapers is 7 inches of handle for every inch over the tool rest. Mind that and you'll love it

Pictured is, I believe, the long reach Baron, not the wide reach. I never had to have it 5 inches over tool rest, just far enough to get straight portion on rest.

OH! I didn't even know there were two versions! With mine 5" over is the minimum. For smaller stuff I also have (not pictured) a Hunter small tapered shoulder tool, and a Cygnet Center. Love my Hunter tools.
