About six months ago I did a turning that I gave to my brother which I called Burl Wolf (picture 1). Today I finished another turning from that same red oak burl. I have named this piece Son of Burl Wolf (picture 2). If you look closely, you can see a face at a slight tilt. It can be identified by the two eyes, a forehead, and a nose. The turning is 14 ¼†W x 10 ¼†H x 7/8†D and is 3/8†thick. I filled some of the voids with Inlacy turquoise. It has been dipped in a blend of oils and then Beall buffed. C & C welcomed.

Hope everyone has finished all of their Christmas projects and that you will have a very Merry Christmas.
Steve
