Last night at Tennessee Association of Woodturners we had a pretty full house. And, our own John Lucas was the presenter showing some very cool ideas and techniques for ornaments.

Here are a couple photos I took. Maybe John will post a couple of his ornaments!

All in all, was a good evening and very helpful tips.

John is a great demonstrator. He has been at our chapter meeting in Dalton, GA before and does a great job. I highly recommend his youtube videos on tools and turning. I am in the process in planning and making a DIY skew jig on Skew Video #2 for sharpening. I also attended a demonstration in Cookeville that he had on sharpening turning tools.
