Al,

Just got the AAW newsletter with your picks for the rotations. I was going through the schedule earlier this week trying to figure out what would benefit me most and this popped up today. Other than grabbing a Steven Kennard and Avelino Samuel, looks like it's plug-and-play for me.

Thanks!

Mark

Thanks, we had fun.

Ron Browning, Rudy Lopez, and Sherry Hockenbery helped me. We all did lists and Linda consolidated them.

Have fun
Hope to see you in Pittsburgh

Same here Al. Should be a great time there. I've been there for a Saints/Steelers game and it is a great city.

I attended the demo done by Avelino Samuel at SWAT last year and thought it was great. His program was on his signature style of carving hollowforms.

A couple of months ago, I was lucky enough receive as a gift a nice mahogany hollow form piece with a finial that is so delicate it's hard to imagine how he turned it. In fact, I have a picture of an overweight dude holding it. It was in the Gallery St. Thomas, where he shows a bunch of nice work.

I'm really looking forward to seeing his demo and hopefully meeting him.

Mark, I could use this too but I haven't found it. Is there a link on the AAW site to the picks? Very excited I was able to swing it this year and attend my first Symposium.

Doug

Hey Doug,

I've put up a photoshopped copy of my email with the schedule. If you have any trouble with it, get me your email address I'll forward you the email I received.

So if this is your first symposium, it's only my second. Look me up will you?

Mark

Thanks Mark! Wow, I'm grinning like a kid at some of these sessions. As far as I can see the only problem is the lack of a 6 a.m. session! :D

Will most definitely look you up. I downloaded the app which looks very helpful. There is an attendee list which may allow staying in touch.

Doug, I downloaded the app too. I'm checked in.

I'm with you on that 0600 session. I'd be happy to get up a little early!
