Just got the AAW newsletter with your picks for the rotations. I was going through the schedule earlier this week trying to figure out what would benefit me most and this popped up today. Other than grabbing a Steven Kennard and Avelino Samuel, looks like it's plug-and-play for me.

I attended the demo done by Avelino Samuel at SWAT last year and thought it was great. His program was on his signature style of carving hollowforms.

A couple of months ago, I was lucky enough receive as a gift a nice mahogany hollow form piece with a finial that is so delicate it's hard to imagine how he turned it. In fact, I have a picture of an overweight dude holding it. It was in the Gallery St. Thomas, where he shows a bunch of nice work.



I'm really looking forward to seeing his demo and hopefully meeting him.

I've put up a photoshopped copy of my email with the schedule. If you have any trouble with it, get me your email address I'll forward you the email I received.

So if this is your first symposium, it's only my second. Look me up will you?

Will most definitely look you up. I downloaded the app which looks very helpful. There is an attendee list which may allow staying in touch.
