Threaded brass inserts

Looking to buy threaded inserts to attach lids to turned wood urns. 2 1/4" id works for me. I have purchased them in the past from R & M crafts in Wisconsin, but the fellow who makes them there passed away.

I found another thread with a suggestion to use black ABS plumbing fixtures. I found some at Lowes and will be trying them on an urn I have in progress.
