tools with tangs in a interchangabe tool handle

I picked up a couple, one from Boxmaster which is now owned/sold from D-Way. I have several scrapers and a skew with flat tang and they work great. I've also used handles I've made, drove it in the wood to fit a square into round hole, pulled them out and put epoxy in the hole, drive tang back in. So far they have all held.

Sorby currently lists a Sovereign Tang Collet Adapter for square scrapers etc. (Link below)
I have adapters from them that are actually rectangular. Will post pic later.

The ones Cindy Drozda sells are Thompson.

Yes, and they work well.

I've been using one in a tight fitting Osage Orange handle since picking it up at SWAT this summer. Friction fit only, no epoxy. Works great and easy to swap tools in / out.

It was new technology to me and I didn't want to go overboard untried. In hindsight. I wish that I had picked up a few more of them.
