Hello Turners,
I haven't posted anything in a long time but I'm here looking for potential demonstrators for a regional woodturning symposium held in March in Saratoga Springs, NY called Totally Turning. Hopefully some of you have been before and had a good experience. We've been holding our event for quite few years and I have taken over scheduling the demonstrators. If you are located in the Northeast US and have a skill or specialty you want to share with other turners in a symposium setting please contact me at the email address below. Or if you know someone who demonstrates please have them contact me. We cover most if not all expenses.
We're looking for pen turners who also might do some resin casting, hollowing and whatever else you might think of. We already have several wonderful turners lined up so this should be an exciting show. If you do Live Remote Demos that would work as well. We have been streaming live demos for a couple of years now. We have good equipment and a very large screen.
We are held in conjunction with the Northeastern Woodworkers Association annual Woodworkers Showcase which includes a gallery of fine woodwork, lectures and a large vendor area.
If 2025 doesn't work then let me know if 2026 would be better. I'll add you to a list of future presenters.
Thanks very much,
Don Orr
