Transferring patterns

Newbie to your site. Looking for suggestions as to better ways to transfer pattern to beaded illusion bowls. Thanks

Thanks for asking. I have traced them out with various papers like sticky carbon paper. I have used horizontal patterns printed out similar to multicolored rows in woodturning software, but find it a bit confusing to stay oriented.
Appreciate any suggestions. ken

Ken, I don't transfer patterns, what I do is pencil in index lines - in the case of your design I'd do eight, one for each petal. From there, pick a starting point (color) and start coloring. Sometimes I'll color "cell by cell" , and other times I'll just put a dot of color in the appropriate cell and work through the pattern. Then I'll go back and start inking the whole "cell". Either way, it's picking a starting point and counting up, down left, right to develop the pattern.
