Hi all. Apologies for the day-delay in posting this. My choice for this week's featured turning is Ellen Starr's Lotus Temple. It is a fascinating composition, made from many components comprising several different materials. The end result is a sculpture that blurs the line between fantasy and reality. Have I seen this place before, if even in photos? I don't think so, but I would not be surprised if there was a Lotus Temple out there somewhere (of course, there are places called Lotus Temple, including this famous one). @Ellen Starr, your choice of (and treatment of) materials is excellent, and your photograph does a nice job of representing your piece. Great work all around, and my choice for Turning of the Week. Well deserved!
