My choice for TOTW for May 22, 2023 is Gabriel Hoff's "Elegant Ogee Bowl".

Simple, but very elegant finely executed shape, mated with exceptional burl....a combination that excels!

I agree with Bill, this is an excellent choice. Really nice work here and the wood is fantastic.

You're right, there is a ton of exceptional pieces in the Photo Gallery that are truly outstanding.

I chose your Elegant Ogee Bowl because it has elements that strike a chord with my own more "traditional" beliefs. Simple, well done.....combined with a great example of what Mother Nature can provide, is a pairing of two great things that become aesthetically compounded by one's influence on the other! :)

Congratulations, Gabriel ... well deserved choice. I've had my eye on this piece. If Odie hadn't chosen it today - there was a very high probability that it would have been my choice for TOTW next week!
