This week's TOTW award goes to Roberto Ferrer for his masterful tour de force, Pakal. The beautiful highly detailed carving and his finishing technique work so perfectly together that everything about it proclaims it to be a Mayan masterpiece that would have made Pakal proud. Searching the web, I found that Pakal the Great (Kʼinich Janaab Pakal), was king of Palenque for 68 years, longer than any other ruler in the Ancient Maya world!
