My choice for Turning of the Week for September 26, 2022 is "3 Grams" by Eli Polite. This was an easy choice. As a segmented turner and a turner of miniatures myself, that piece is just beyond belief. It is beautifully done. Ideally a miniature piece should not give a clue to how small it is. The wood choices and dimensions should be chosen carefully so that it looks full size in a photo. Eli has done that to perfection. It would be beautiful no matter what size it is.
