Vac connection for 3520C?

I suspect this has been discussed already but I'm not finding it on the forum.

Is there a preferred vacuum adaptor for connecting ones vacuum pump to a 3520C? I have a frugal pump and Oneway vacuum chucks already in use on my current lathe but am upgrading to the PM3520C and want an solid, easy to use vacuum adaptor for it. Current lathe is Laguna Revo 2436, it's adaptor is threaded into the spindle.
I see the Robust and Oneway adaptors online, others worth looking at?

I just adapted a friend. I simply turned a piece of Corian to fit a bearing that had 1/2" ID. I glued a brass 1/2" to barbed adaptor in it to go in the inlet hose. I turned an opening in the Corian to fit the OD of the bearing. I drilled a hole the same size as the ,ID if the handwheel hole. then epoxied the Corian to the handwheel. put a piece of closed cell foam you can get from Walmart into the Corian to help the bearing seal when the vacuum is turned on. years ago I had my handwheel on my 3520A bored to fit the sane size bearing. thst works really well if you have a machinist friend. if not my Corian fix works great.
 
I bought the Robust unit for my 3520C. Just plug it into the outboard end of spindle and put your vacuum chuck on inboard side and go. It's a very good quality item worth the money. Quick and easy to hook up.

The OneWay adapter comes in a 3520 specific model. It fits the A & B, and I would assume the C, but you could always ask them. It's a very nice adapter, but a little pricey. The OddNot/Frugal set up is an economical way to go, that is different from the left spindle end adapter method.

Thanks! That is a nice looking option, It looks like the Robust is a bit more simple than the Oneway, I'm leaning towards the robust now for that reason.

The Oneway adapter requires removal of the hand wheel, I believe. I have a 3520C with a Robust adapter and IMHO it is the well worth the money.
 
Been using the vac connector that came with my Robust AB 12 over years ago - back then it was made by JT Turning Tools. Brent took over production when the owner passed and makes them in-house. They are relatively simple in design, but are vastly superior to anything else I’ve used, including the Oneway. Well worth a few bucks more. Remember, you only cry once…
