Vacuum or Pressure for Epoxy

When watching videos where epoxy is used, after pouring the epoxy some videos show the blank being put in a vacuum chamber and some show the blank being put in a pressure chamber. Is this just a matter of choice or does it depend on the type of epoxy used?
Is one method more effective than the other?

Pressure is more in use especially for faster setting resins to crush the bubbles. Vacuum can be used for slower setting resins to extract bubbles prior to using pressure. Ive seen some using vacuum immediately after mixing before its poured. Not sure how effective the vacuum is in either case as the viscosity of the resin can make the bubbles slow to move.
