Vicmarc100 & Grizzly Chucks

Vicmarc VM-100 jaws work OK for me on the Grizzly knock-off chuck; no idea about inserts.....

One warning about the Grizzly chuck... My chuck had a particularly sharp back edge (corner near the indexing dimples) - enough to cut my hand (although not severely).

I suggest that users of new Grizzly chucks "check the chuck", and ease all sharp edges with a file and/or abrasive before using!

I have used Oneway Talon jaws on a Vicmarc 100.

Some recent scuttlebutt about another of the majors indicates some shopping around in China, with similar complaints and remedies.
