Here is my first successful bowl turned from a burl. It's about 8.5"W x 3"H. I got this blank green, rough turned, boiled, dried trimmed and sanded to 320.

What do you guys think?

it is a good looking bowl but I think I would have tried a different finish, something to enhance the grain.

It's not finished yet, notice in the original post I said "Sanded to 320"

I'm thinking laquer, It will be used for differen't things, and I've already done an oil finish on another bowl I did.

More pics later today
