What do you see in this piece of Mesquite......2 1/4 X 5 X 7?

I would appreciate any suggestions...

I see a picture of scooby doo turned sideways in the first pic but that's just me. No help on what to turn, sorry.
 
My first thought was to use some as a lid for a box. Contrasting with a lighter wood, like Maple. Otherwise, maybe a few bottle stoppers.
 
Looks like there are a couple of spindle blanks trying to get out to me.
 
it is large enough to do a seed jar. I do these with face grain in the top. Yours would have endgrain on the top.
For 2000 years woodworkers have been hiding end grain. Your blank might have the rare pice with nice looking end grains.
i Like to add sand carving to mine.

these four are about 7” diameter but these scale nicely and a 5d x 2h will look nice
red gum eucalyptus, poplar with Turkey motife, poplar dyed black, cherry with feather motif.
