One of our most senior woodworkers has asked my help in finding epoxy in gallon sized volume. He just ran out of some he bought years ago from the owner of a factory that used it in large amounts. He tends to use it as a finish or coating, but in his next project, it might be more of an adhesive. He doesn't currently use it super thick, as in a 'bar top' coating. The use would not be for casting or stabilizing, though he wouldn't be averse to buying from a supplier of those types of products. I've seen some advertised on Ebay at reasonably good prices, but know nothing about the sellers or the suitability of the products. Thanks for your help.

Agree with Dan Stromberg, look to boat builders. When I built a cedar strip canoe years ago West Systems was the largest supplier with several different types (viscosity etc) and sizes available.
