Hi everyone,

My name is Jeff, a fellow woodturner from PA. Nice site you have here. I met a member at a show last weekend that told me about the AAW and found this forum as a result of that contact. I plan to join after the first of the year.

In the meantime, I have a debacle. Last night, while turning some ash, I had a disaster. Nasty dig in, so severe that it broke the cast iron swing/extension tool rest arm clean in half. Pictures are included below. I need to replace that arm, and the machine is out of warranty. Ive contacted JET (who has been VERY helpful with some others issues Ive had in the past), but they have not returned my email yet.

I need another arm and Id like to get it quickly. Where can I buy an aftermarket arm like the one pictured?

Thanks in advance for any input you might have,

Warmly,

Finally got ahold of Jet this afternoon, and they are sending a warranty replacement. I didnt realize it was a two year warranty. They have been very good to me up there, although Ive had to deal with them more than I would like.

Thanks anyway,
Jeff
