hey guys,

I got my 1hp Rikon Grinder (80-808) and Wolverine grinding system. I am following instructions online.

I attached the Wolverine system to a 3/4" piece of wood
I attached the grinder to another 3/4" piece of wood placed in the middle of the wolverine

The platform seem to come low compared to where the wheel is. Should I remove the middle piece of wood the grinder sitting on?

Each grinder is a little different. You have to measure the height of the center of the wheel to the base of the grinder. Subtract this number from 6.5. This will give you the thickness of the spacer. If it is negative you need the spacers under the tracks.

I attached a link to instructions. The center of the the wheel should be 6 1/4 to 6 1/2" above the base of the track.
