Hi, has/does anyone use the woodcut Pro-Tip system? Essentially it's a long solid bar and a short bowl gouge section that you screw onto the bar. This gives the tool extra rigidity if you are turning aways off the tool rest. I saw Ronald Kanne using one for a bottom feeder and it looked like a good system. But I'm wondering if anyone has experience with it, especially in the states. My questions being: how long is the usable tip? And where can you get them in the states? I've seen a couple retailers who sell the initial setup but I haven't seen the tips anywhere so I don't know what that might cost.
Thanks,
Raif
