Hello everyone, my name is Yasemin (it's pronounced similarly to Jasmine). I'm from California and I'm pretty new to wood working. My friend has been teaching me and helping me get set up on my own. He owns his own woodturning company and I've come to realize I really like turning wood. I've completed a couple of little projects, handful of bowls and honey dippers from start to finish and I've been so stoked on it. I have a mini lathe that I just got but it has no motor or control box for it, I've been on the hunt for a 1 hp for it so I can start playing with it. I'm excited to learn more and work up my skills, thanks for having me:)

Heres some of the bowls and honey dippers I finished; I used madrone, walnut, laurel, and black acacia
