6352 Box Elder Walnut 6371

View of closed box. Boxelder burl natural bark edge. 5 1/2" tall 3 1/16" square.
unusual concept for burl???????

@Bill Boehme I added a different shot of the box with a little bit of the inside. The tolerance of the fit between the tray and wall was so close that when the tray is dropped in the box it floats down as well as there is a suction when pulling out the tray.

@Jamie Straw Thanks. I got the idea from a maple burl that was tall and square. I had this piece sitting around for about 4 years and every once and awhile I would pull it out and try to think what can i do with this. Then finally late last fall it dawned on me. Make a Box. Eventually I will post a photo of the first box.
