Ash Goblet
Ash goblet with ebony dyed and Limed bowl. Captured ring on stem.
Very attractive goblet. Nice contrasting finish, how did you keep the dye from working its way thru the prores to the inside? If its not too late I think the ring would look great with the same treatment as well.

Stopping the dye from bleeding was a problem and after using a foam brush very carefully I stopped it with a little step just below the edge. The ring was in my thoughts for a while with a desire to turn it black as well and being the first time I put it off for the next improvement.
Thanks for your comments.
