“Purple Haze” Bradford Pear Vessel

This one is turned, hollowed, carved, textured, pyro’d then some color. Enjoyed this one and I learned a lot. Big B
@Brian Longshore I can't imagine the hours into a piece like this, you a truly a patient, talented guy.
I also wonder if you just did this treatment only to the top 1/5 and the bottom 1/5 it might look awesome in a different kind of way. But your piece here IS wonderful. Maybe you can share some of that carving know how with me some time.
 
@Dan Stevenson Yes I suppose there are a number of combination variations for this style. I am out of Bradford pear for now so hopefully will get more in my stockpile on my next trip back up to Georgia next weekend.
