AAW Fall 2009 Contest

A lidded box, done in Cherry, pyrographed, and colored with alcohol markers. My attempt at a fall scene with different colored and textured leaves. The base and finial are done in Blackwood. The entire contraption stands a touch over 6 inches.
very nice

Very nice selection of colors - they do look fallish. I'm curious - how can you produce so many wonderful pieces in such a short time?

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm flattered.

Hal- That was asked on a previous post. Some, like this, are my very latest turnings and some are ones that haven't been posted here.

George - From someone who does such wonderful finials as yourself, I am extremely flattered by your comments. Thank you.

Kurt each time you post one of these textured pieces they just get better,I wonder what you will be producing in a years time
cheers
