Shamrock Platter 3" x 10" turned from 4 x 12 Cedar beam with an Escoulan chuck on 4 axes. Carved, textured and airbrushed acrylic. Finished with sanding sealer, 4 coats of Waterlox tung oil varnish and waxed by Beall system Design for this piece evolved seeing others turning these platters and the necessity of actually using the Escoulan chuck. This project was definitely fun and a learning experience.
Thank you Bill. That is really nice to hear from one who is one of the most outstanding turners I have ever known.
