Masala Chai

This teapot consists of seven pieces. Six of which are lathe turned. The handle was cut with a band saw and sanded to the appropriate shape. The handle moves, as a proper teapots should. The wood is pear, finished with acrylic spray and buffed. Turning by Michael Gibson. 5 3/4" x 6 1/2"
The inspiration for the pyrography was Indian design motifs and a favorite tea, Masala Chai. Pyrography by Cynthia Gibson.
This teapot is our donation to the E.O.G. auction in St. Paul.
Very cool. The form is nice and the pyrography is neat. Congratulations on a job well done, Mike and Cynthia.

Good luck with the contest, and thanks for the generous donation to the organization!
