American Sycamore / Cherry Burl Vase

This is the latest of the triangle stave segmented turnings I am working on. The veneer and foot are walnut.
Sanded this one with mineral oil. I will put finish on it later.

Diameter: 4 1/2 inches
Height: 6 3/4 inches

I like these off center staved vessels you are doing. I really like beaded collar you added to this one. Nice touch

The bead helps to accentuate the sense of motion that the off axis alignment brings out. I am going to try and do a captured ring on one of the blanks, SOON!
