Ash Vase Composite 5166

This is four different shots of one ash vase which measures about 10 inches tall. After each phot, the vase was rotated clockwise by 90 degrees. The pictures show the four "faces" which result from the intersecting left and right spirals. ie spiral left, chevrons down, spiral right, chevrons up. Spirals were cut with a router mounted in a sled and the vase mounted on the lathe. The hardest part was a lot of trial and error in the photomanipulation.
