Ash

Here's my latest work. It is a bowl of ash that has been smoked with ammonia so it has received a cognac color.
The outside except the coloured area is burned with the Razortip. It is used Chestnut spirit stain with different colors to highlight the growth rings.
I've used this technique on bowl with a wide rim, but I think it works fine this way too. Finish is Satin Lacquer.
C& c are welcomed!
