Banksia Pod Goblet

The third in a series of turnings that explore Banksia Pod possibilities. This piece incorporates a cherry pedestal & rim ring and goblet form. It is one of several pieces that have been entered in the current exhibition at the Montpelier Mansion (Laurel, MD) sponsored by the Chesapeake Woodturners.

The combination of banksia pod and cherry really work well together. Nice shape, nice proportions.
