Banksia Pod Hollow Form w/Lid and Finial

The second in a series of Banksia Pod turnings that explore hollow form possibilities. This piece incorporates an African Blackwood pedestal, rim ring and finial into an elongated urn form. It is one of several pieces that have been entered in the current exhibition at the Montpelier Mansion (Laurel, MD) sponsored by the Chesapeake Woodturners.
