Batwing II

A second of the Batwing series. Based on Schoen's Batwing minimal surface. Spalted turned on 4 axes with 8 mountings, then carved to final form. Started life as a cube.
Spalted maple, lacquer
5.5" x 5.5" x 5.5"
That is complexity taken to a simply beautiful form. The more I think about how to make it, the more amazed I am at what you have achieved.
