Beaded vase

Turned from blue gum burl ,300mm high .beads were placed on the outside with a skew .I think the beads add to the piece as it draws the eye to the grain .The inside had a light stain added to give a contrast ,danish oil finish.The 3 feet are texturd and stained

really like this piece - the light stain on the inside really brought out the grain and gave it a great color contrast with the natural beads - great piece!
 
I never would have had the nerve to texture and stain such gorgeous figure. I'd surely go too far and ruin the piece. This is fabulous. Nothing is lost in the piece, it makes the figure all the more interesting. Lovely!
