Birdhouse #5

Birdhouse #5

This one is 7" (177.8mm)tall by 2.5" (63.5mm)wide.
Live Oak Burl roof, and Live Oak lower bungalow. Sanded to 600, polished with EEE, finished with Shellawax Cream. All comments welcome.
A very nice birdhouse you've made, Gil. I like the burl "roof."

Another beauty, Gil. The only negative I can see is that the doorway seems oversized for the size of the bird. In a real birdhouse, I think the door is supposed to be just large enough for the bird to squeeze through, and small enough to restrict predators. But very well done nonetheless.

Thanks, Bud and Joe.
The bird seemed a bit small to me too (after it was glued in place), and I may swap it out for a larger one.
