Black Walnut Crotch

18" x 2 1/4" shallow bowl finished with mixture of polyurethane, tung oil and turpentine. This piece came from a crotch that I'd set aside to be a table top, now it has a big hole in it.

Another outstanding piece of wood. I'm one who also thinks that it's usually best to let Mother Nature show off her beauty, than to try to embellish it with details.......you've done well with your choice of shape.
