The bleach is a 2 part product from Rocklers. Applied with a nylon bristle brush. 4 or more coats to get really white, which I now find yellow with the application of nearly every finsih I have tried. Still working on it.

Have you tried acrylic artist fixative? Krylon matte and krylon crystal clear have worked very well for me.
