Bowl and Plate

Bowl and Plate

I was trying for an updated oriental look for this piece. Bowl is Cocobolo, and the plate is Jarrah. Bowl is just buffed and waxed, plate is finished with lacquer and buffed and waxed. The Idea came from a traditional rice bowl and plate. All comments and critiques always welcome.
This is a most elegant and delicate piece. I love the understated yet beautiful forms of the two pieces. Just lovely!!!
