Box Elder Burl w/pyrography

7"x4" finished with Danish oil. The base is branded with a home-made brand, and the horses are burned in using commercial pyrography pens.

Molly this is fantastic work. This looks similar to the piece which had the blowout on the bottom. This piece might look good displayed on a lazy-suzan where you can turn it to see the horses go round :)

Thank you Jeff. This was the first one I did with the basket weave base. The one I blew out was second. I've got another just finished to replace the one I broke with a different scene. I'll post that one soon.
