Bradford Pear Box

I am still learning the threading thing, gradually working my way up to threading larger hollowforms. I am also trying to learn pyrography. With painting, if you screw up you can repaint it. With pyrography you have one shot so if you screw up there is no re-do. Anyway I have always liked Mike Stafford's boxes which is where the inspiration for this box's form came from. The pyrography inspiration comes from to many people to list. The difficult part of this one for me was wrapping the leaf's up and over the lid. Anyway this one measures 4-3/8" diameter x 3" tall. Finished with my 10 minute finish.
Looks as though you're a quick study. Great looking box.
