I was eavesdropping on a couple of woodturners a while back. They were talking about "captured rings". I Thought that sounded like fun, so I decided to try it myself.
About the time I finished, it was pointed out to me that I had gotten it backwards. :)
Anyway, here it is.
Myrtle, ebony. 4"dia, 5" high.
