Carved Box "Dragon" Detail View

A better view of the carving.
Thanks Don. I'll take artistic and design credits for the piece, but the CNC Router gets the "carving" skills credit.

It took a lot of different skills and a whole lot of time to produce this, but traditional carving wasn't one of the skills. I've know people who could execute a piece like this with a knife and some carving gouges, but I'm not one of them.

Great design work Ed love the dragon and what looks like scales for texturing.

Thanks Lou - The texturing was inspired by the type of fish scale carving you see on gun stocks a lot. Seemed like a good fit with the dragon. Of course these would be dragon scales!
