"Circle Gets The Square"

Curly maple, turned and carved three leg square bowl measuring 23" W x 23" W x 10" H with a wingspan of 30" from tip to tip of wings.
Ebonized bead, outside rim of square edge and feet.
You are right Marc. It was like trying to turn a Cessna 170 propeller at 800 RPM's on the Oneway 2436 Big Outboard. It was a fun turn.

Very nice Chris! Did you turn this as a square or square it after turning? The uniform thickness of your wings is quite impressive having tried wings myself, lol! Nice post on your bending technique; way to get outside the box!
