Class-of-05-Cherry-Birch

There's a genetic sport of yellow birch up here they call "black" or "cherry" birch. Some claim it's a separate species. Bark almost black, and the interior, as you can see, looks like cherry. Got a stick of firewood a few years back that I am about finished taking to market.
